1、at指时间的一个点、时刻等，比较短暂的一段时间。
也可指某个节日或被认为是一年中标志大事的日子。
at后面常常接几点几分、天明、中午、日出、日落、开始等。

at five o'clock（五点） at down（黎明） at daybreak（天亮）
at sunrise（日出） at noon(中午） at sunset（日落）
at midnight（半夜） at the beginning of the month(月初）
at that time（那时） at that moment（那会儿）
at this time of day（在一天的这个时候）
They came home at sunrise.（他们日落后回家）
He went home at christmas.（他在圣诞节回家）
1、in指在某个较长时间（如世纪、朝代、年、月、季节以及泛指的上午、下午或傍晚等）
2、Example：
in 2006（在2006年） in May，2004（在2004年5月）
in the morning（在早上） in the afternoon（在下午）
in the evening（在晚上） in the night（在夜晚）
in the daytime（在白天） in the 21st century（在21世纪）
in three days/week/month（在3天/周/个月）
in a week（一周） in spring（在春天）
1、on指具体的时日和一个特定的时间。如某日、某节日、星期几等。
Example：
on christmas Day（在圣诞节） on may 4th
2、在某个特定的早晨、下午、晚上。
Example:
He arrived at 10 o'clock on the night of the 5th
3、准时、按时。
Example：
If the train should be on time，I should reach home before dark.
4、on后面常接某日、星期几、某日或某周日的朝夕，节日等。
Example：
on sunday（在星期天） on that afternoon（那天下午）
on a warm morning in April（在四月的一个温暖的早上）
on a December night（在12月的一个晚上）
on the following night（在下一个晚上）
on Christmas afternoon（在圣诞结下午)
on October 1,1949（在1949年10月1日）
on May 3th（在5月3日） on New year's Day（在新年）
on New year's Eve（在除夕）
